Cards ready!

Ladies & Gentlemen,
Since next week we have the deadline to deliver all the final files for printing, this week we managed to power through all the cards.
You can see below a few samples (remember, these are print screens, so the quality is not the best) and we believe they will look great :)
The size is obviously the same as the cards in Proxima Centauri and Edge of Extinction, and we are in touch with the manufacturer to make sure that colors will also match.
What's left? Rules and player aids, both work in progress, which we expect to have ready by next Thursday.

Punch-boards preview

Ladies & Gentlemen,
The punchboards containing all the goodies - tokens, hew hexes, counters, new technologies - are ready!

Tokens, counters, hexes, etc.
As print screens, they may not look as impressive as the final product, which will feature vivid colors through offset printing, but you can still have an idea of what you will get a few months from now.
Some more good news - the artwork for leaders is complete - this was the last piece of the art puzzle we were trying to solve.
With that in mind, next week we will have all cards ready... so prepare for a new update :)

The final box

Ladies & Gentlemen,
As we are working on the final files for production, we wanted to share with you a 3D model of the Event Horizon box:
A quick update into the rest of production:
- final punchboards are almost ready and we should have them on Monday
- art for the leaders is in progress and should be ready next week
- Rainer has given more thought to the rules and made further corrections (as he had a bit more time to blind test and refine the rules text) and this will be the final item we will work on
Overall, we are on schedule for October delivery.

Status of art and production

Ladies & Gentlemen,
In this update you can read about the current status of art, production and our plans regarding BackerKit.
1. Art
When the large box made it into the project, we had to decide to go one of two ways when it came to art:
either resize the current box art, so that it fits the new box, or,
go back to the design board and add proper new art as the box size changed.
We obviously opted for the second solution, which is more expensive and time consuming, but comes with no compromises.
These days, Odysseas - the illustrator behind most Exodus art - is working on adaption the box art to the new box specs. This will take two more weeks, as we only obtained the final size die-cut not so long ago.
Following the box, Odysseas will take care of the leader art, illustrations made based on the info we got from our Admiral pledge level supporters. All art should be ready at the end of May.
2. Production
We have already contracted manufacturing, even though we still need a bit of time to prepare the final files. Thus, we have secured a production slot which means that as soon as we are ready, our partner will start production.
3. BackerKit
The pledge manage will stay open for as long as possible, as we originally promised. Only after production is completed and we are ready to ship we will close BackerKit.
Before that happens, everyone will still have a chance to update their address.
4. Delays?
The short and simple answer is: unlikely. We're on schedule and even though this time it seems we won't be able to deliver early, October is absolutely realistic.

The Big Box is here

Ladies & Gentlemen,
We have great news, especially for those of you who wanted so much to get a big box for Event Horizon... it's done!
With your help, our funds in BackerKit together with the funds from this campaign have surpassed $90K, thus the big box is reality!
We are now working to modify the art so it fits the giant, we'll post updates with images as soon as we have them.
